The Lee E. Barta Remembrance Run
Each year our office sponsors many local events. The Lee E. Barta Remembrance Run is one that is very important to us.
In 1995, Lee E. Barta, a Binghamton Police Officer, was killed in the line of duty. Because of a former Managing Director's expert guidance, Lee's wife Mary was secure in knowing that the family's finances were in order.
Each year the city of Binghamton has a 5K run to honor Lee E. Barta and all other Police Officers killed in the line of duty. Since its inception, The Greater New York Group - Binghamton of Northwestern Mutual Financial Network has been a major sponsor.
